2. Technical Requirements

Rules and Regulations for Conducting Online Assessments

To ensure the smooth and fair execution of online assessments, the following rules and regulations must be strictly adhered to:

1.1 Students must log in at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to avoid any delays.

1.2 A stable internet connection is mandatory throughout the duration of the exam.

1.3 The assessment must be completed within the allocated 1-hour time limit. No extensions will be granted.

1. General Guidelines

2.1 Students must use a laptop/desktop with a working camera and microphone. Mobile phones are not recommended unless specified.

2.2 Ensure the system has a compatible browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and the necessary plugins/software installed.

2.3 In case of technical issues during the exam, students must immediately notify the technical support team provided by the organizers.

3. Exam Environment

3.1 Students must choose a quiet and well-lit environment to avoid distractions.

3.2 Use of headphones or earphones is not allowed unless explicitly permitted.

3.3 No external help or collaboration with others is allowed during the assessment.

4. Integrity and Proctoring

4.1 The exam will be monitored through online proctoring tools to ensure fairness.

4.2 Any suspicious activity, such as switching screens, leaving the test window, or interacting with others, will result in disqualification.

4.3 Students must keep their cameras on and their microphones unmuted throughout the assessment.

5. Permitted and Prohibited Materials

5.1 Students are allowed to use a pen and blank paper for rough work if required.

5.2 The use of calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited.

5.3 Browsing external websites or using reference materials during the exam is not allowed.

6. Submission

6.1 Students must submit their answers within the specified time limit. Late submissions will not be considered.

6.2 Double-check answers before submission, as no re-submissions are allowed.

7. College Responsibilities

7.1 Colleges must ensure the availability of labs or systems for students without personal devices.

7.2 Any request for additional infrastructure (internet, backup power) must be arranged by the college.

7.3 The college must ensure adequate supervision for students appearing on-campus.

8. Safety and Privacy

8.1 Personal data collected during the registration process will be used solely for assessment purposes.

8.2 Proctoring recordings will be securely stored and will not be shared with third parties.

10.2 Colleges and students are encouraged to conduct a mock test to familiarize themselves with the process.

By participating in the online assessment, students and colleges agree to comply with the above rules and regulations. Non-compliance may result in penalties or disqualification.
9.1 Any student found violating the rules will be disqualified immediately and reported to their college authorities.
